Social Sciences Workshops

The Social Studies department at FSD Sixth Form have developed an exciting new working relationship with Professor Graham Towl of Forensic Psychology at the University of Durham. Graham was a psychologist for HM Prison Services before becoming Chief Psychologist as a Senior Civil Servant in central government. We are very much looking forward to working with Graham and he will be working with the Sixth Form on a number of occasions in the future, the first being on Thursday 9 November to students who are interested in a career within Psychology. This opportunity will be open to Years 10 and 11 and the Sixth Form students. Graham will return at the end of month to work closely with Year 13 students on skills in Psychology and in January deliver a workshop on Forensic Psychology to both Psychology and Sociology students.
