Summer Camp with Humanutopia

Summer Camp with Humanutopia

In the last week of August some our new Year 7 students attended a transition summer camp run by older students at the school and staff from Humanutopia ( a social enterprise company which runs personal development courses for young people). They took part in a variety of activities including sport, face painting, cake decorating, music and ‘getting to know you’.  Over 100 of the new Year 7 students attended the transition camp. The event was called HARmony camp and is based on the values of Honesty, Awareness and Responsibility. Thank you to the older students who generously gave up some of their summer holiday to help younger students with the move to secondary school and who acted as positive role models for the new Year 7 students.
